Over 95% of all patients admitted to the hospital are touched by Radiology, and there is a constant need for new state-of-the-art equipment to better serve those patients. For over 35 years, Chesapeake Regional has been improving the quality of life in our community. Our goal is to continue to provide the highest quality of healthcare available to our patients and their families.

2nd Annual YAAA! For a Cure 2nd Annual Black Tie Bowling

YAAA! (Young Adults for Alzheimer’s Awareness) For a Cure Black-Tie Bowling is a unique, fun-filled black-tie/cocktail wear inspired bowling event. Participants dress formally from the waist up, and “anything goes” on the bottom. Beyond that, there are no rules. Attire can be as formal or as creative and zany as participants prefer. Imagine a tuxedo shirt with cufflinks and a bow-tie on top paired with Bermuda shorts on the bottom. Top hats, colorful wigs, glitzy tops, tiaras… all are enthusiastically encouraged! Proceeds benefit the Alzheimer’s Association Southeastern Virginia Chapter.

Tickets are $40 per Individual Bowler (Participants are requested to create a fundraising page and ask friends and family to sponsor them).
Individuals not on a team will be placed together with other “spare” bowlers up to a team of 6.

Great Strides is the Cystic Foundation’s largest fund-raising event. It provides opportunities for all people within a local community to get involved forming teams through their workplace, through clubs and organizations or with friends and family. Walk day is a fun, family-oriented celebration that includes a healthy walk, Kids’ Corner activities, food, and festivities that participants look forward to year after year. Cystic fibrosis is a life-threatening genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of approximately 30,000 children and adults in the United States.

Can’t make it to Daytona for spring break? No worries! The annual Norfolk Sertoma Spring Fever is the premier community spring celebration. Many party-goers simply refer to this day of fun and good company as “the great barn party.” And it’s for a good cause. Every year, Sertoma clubs raise more than $20 million for community needs. Through these projects, as well as grants and scholarships, Sertoma clubs return those funds to their respective communities.

The Sertoma Spring Fever is an AYCEDD event. That is, all-you-can-eat, drink, and dance featuring popular bands. Tickets include beer, top-shelf spirits, and excellent food prepared and served by club members—favorites like beef tenderloin, pork barbecue, potato salad, coleslaw, hush puppies, fried trout and clam chowder.

Access Aids Care Dining Out For Life
Thursday, April 26, 2012, marks the 9th Annual Dining Out For Life Hampton Roads, a fabulous event that asks you to dine out at one of the many local restaurants who are partnering with Access Aids Care to help raise money in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Last year, Dining Out For Life raised over $70,000 and 65 restaurants lent their support donating a minimum of 25% of their sales to ACCESS AIDS Care on this special evening. ACCESS AIDS Care provides programs and services to individuals and families impacted by HIV/AIDS in Hampton Roads. All of the proceeds raised from Dining Out For Life stay in Hampton Roads and will benefit over 500 individuals and families served by ACCESS AIDS Care in our community.

Noblemen Princess Anne Wine Classic

The Princess Anne Wine Classic will be held on a picturesque 80 acre horse farm complete with white picket fences and horses roaming the adjoining pastures as you sip fine Virginia wines and taste craft beers. The Noblemen, an area philanthropy organization made up of local businessmen who have, this past year alone, successfully raised over 1 million dollars in donations and community impact for area kids in need, are happy to be hosting the first ever wine tasting in the south end of Virginia Beach. The event will include up to 16 Virginia wineries, craft beers, BBQ with all the fixings sold on site, local artist show, corporate tables and chalets, and live entertainment by Lewis McGee as well as The Pete Hansen Trio.
